Early release Wednesdays in Miami-Dade schools
Yes. Every Wednesday, students in elementary schools (grades 2–5) and K-8 centers (grades 2–8) are released one hour early. Kindergarten, 1st grade and middle and high schools are not part of this rule in the district calendar.
Your school sets the exact dismissal time, so check its bell schedule. There are no other dated early-release days on the 2026–27 district calendar.
